Community Seder
April 14 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Push back against anti-Semitism with love and matzah!
Our interfaith partners and friends in the community are invited to join us, in partnership with 2 For Seder, for a Community Passover Seder!
2 For Seder was created in 2019 by Marnie Fienberg, daughter-in-law of Joyce Fienberg who was killed in the 2018 Tree of Life shooting, to honor Joyce’s memory and approach the task of addressing anti-Semitism through openness and community-building. Temple Emanuel is honored to host 2 For Seder’s official Community Seder of 2024, featuring guest speaker Marnie Fienberg.
Join us to learn about the Jewish faith and practices surrounding Passover and get to know Temple Emanuel members who will lead your table through prayers, discussion, and any questions you may have. We will read through an easily followed Haggadah, our Seder text, and share hors d‘oeuvres, sweets, and matzah over community-building conversation. We hope this seder will provide opportunities for connection and empowerment to challenge anti-Semitism through education and understanding.
Please fill out the form below by April 7th to reserve your seat for this exciting, interfaith event! Organizations are encouraged to reserve tables instead of individual seats to allow for all those interested to be included.
Our reservations have now closed. If you would like to learn more about this event, please reach out to Sarah Mangan at [email protected].
