During our 2024 Giving Tuesday campaign, we raised more than $530,000 toward our $750,000 goal, enabling us to replace Temple Emanuel’s aging roof and install solar panels that will bring us closer to living our Jewish values of sustainability while creating a brighter financial future for our community.

You can still help us reach our goal! Your financial support is needed now more than ever.

A Brighter Future for Temple Emanuel

Temple Emanuel is the hub of Reform Jewish life in the South Hills, thanks to congregants and friends like you. Because of your commitments of time and financial generosity, Temple can support the Jewish community during lifecycle events (baby namings, b’nei mitzvah, weddings, and funerals), educate more than 100 kids in our innovative Torah Center program, build community through social and volunteer programming, celebrate Shabbat and Holidays, and so much more. We ask for your help to replace our aging roof and light the way toward a brighter future with solar panels that will help us live our Jewish values while creating a revenue stream for Temple’s future.

By participating in this campaign, you will ensure that we can continue to meet the evolving needs of our community, enrich our programs, and make the necessary investments in Temple’s physical facility. Help us reach new heights by joining our Capital Campaign to fund a new roof and solar panels, making Temple Emanuel more sustainable and resilient for years to come.

Your donation of any size will make an impact as we strive to “Raise The Roof” on our fundraising goals this year: $36 * $100 * $250 * $500 * $1000 * $2500 * $5000 or more.

Temple Emanuel accepts payments in the form of cash, check, ACH transfer, charitable distribution, debit card, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.*  Have questions or need assistance making a payment?  Contact Office Manager Lori Blattner at 412-279-7600 or Finance Director Rebecca Closson at [email protected] for help.

Contributions to Temple Emanuel help to support the vision and mission to Live, Learn, and Lead Judaism in the South Hills community and beyond.  We are grateful for your support!
