“Who is a Jew, Amiens, France, 1940-45 at Temple Emanuel’s “Thou Art” gallery in March, 2018.

A Note from Dr. David Rosenberg (June 2021)

This past winter and spring, as has been previously publicized, I was privileged to do some video recordings with Lauren Bairnsfather and Jackie Reese of the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh relating to my work on the Jews of the Somme. This work got a major boost with the showing of the exhibit “Who is a Jew, Amiens, France, 1940-45 at TE’s “Thou Art” gallery in March, 2018.
I have been grateful for the support of the entire Adult Ed Committee and Temple from Mitch Bober, Chair, Penny Abrams, Leslie Hoffman, Rabbi Mahler, Dave Rullo, Kim Rullo, and Ron Richards among others.

The original TE exhibit and handouts can be seen along with a great deal more on the website Lydia Rosenberg created.  Click Here.

In Pittsburgh, the exhibit has now been shown at the Holocaust Center and the lobby cases in Hillman Library and is scheduled to be shown in 2022 at the Gumberg Library at Duquesne.
