Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh

The Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh provides women and their children a safe place to go as an emergency shelter from domestic abuse. More than that, they provide support groups, legal advocacy, and programming for the adults and children in their care. We have the opportunity to support this mission by providing dinner for the families in their care. 

For this event, we will prepare freezer meals for the center to use as needed. The kitchen can comfortably fit between 3-8 volunteers. Email Sarah at [email protected] to RSVP to this event. Interested volunteers will meet either in person or virtually beforehand to discuss plans for the freezer meals we will prepare at the center.
