The Environmental Sustainability Committee is excited to offer another family-friendly collaboration between Temple Emanuel and the Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy in an invasive plant species removal project in Bird Park.

The Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy has recently received a watershed protection grant from American Water and needs the help of the community more than ever to prepare the site for native plantings and structural work. You can read more about the grant at lebonature.org.

Families and friends of Temple Emanuel are welcome to join us in this important conservation project in our community! Afterwards, consider joining us for cider, donuts, and yard games on the field.

When: Sunday, October 30th at 1:30 pm

Where: Bird Park, Mt Lebanon. Meet us at the Beadling Rd parking lot.

Who: Anyone is welcome! Bring your water bottle, clippers, shovels, and gloves if you have them. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for some work off the trail.
