Scholarship Information 2022-23
Temple Emanuel ECDC is pleased to offer two scholarship opportunities for eligible families:
Pre-K EITC scholarship
Every year the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh provides families who qualify with scholarships through their scholarship entity – The Pittsburgh Jewish Pre-Kindergarten Educational Improvement Foundation. The application process is managed by FACTS, who collects the data. If you have not used the FACTS process before, here is a quick video to familiarize yourself with them: FACTS Grant & Aid – What to Expect.

- Application must be submitted by 4/30/2022
- $35 Application Fee
- The child must be 3 years old by August 31, 2022
- Families must earn under this amount to be eligible:
- $96,676 + ($17,017) x number of dependents in the family (includes the student) Ex: A family with 5 people (2 parents + 3 children) would need their income to be below $147,727.00 in order to qualify for EITC scholarship: $96,676 + 3 ($17,017) = $147,727.00
- If your child has a disability there is a higher income threshold. Please reference Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program Guidelines and Application (go to page 2)
GEM Scholarship Fund

- Annual household income must not exceed $90,000 with an income allowance of $15,608 for each dependent living within the same household
