SUMMARY:WTE+ Mimouna Celebration Potluck
DESCRIPTION:Mimouna\, a largely Sephardic festival originating in Morocco\, is a festival to celebrate the end of Passover with sweets and leavened foods. Traditional festivals involve visiting the homes of friends and family and welcoming others into your home as well. Feasts include foods that symbolize prosperity and success for the spring to come. In recent years\, this festival has taken off in Israel\, too! Read more about Mimouna here. Instead of visiting each of our actual homes for this feast\, WTE+ invites you to bring the feast to Temple Emanuel for a Mimouna potluck!  It is customary to avoid meat (other than fish)\, coffee\, or other bitter foods for Mimouna\, so please plan to bring a dairy dish. Tea and the traditional moufleta crepes will be provided! Let Sarah Mangan know what you plan to bring by signing up here: Mimouna Potluck Sign-Up.
